Conference Rooms
The Conference Room Reservation System features context based search of booked
conferences to aid the user who knows something about the conference but not the location, including:
- Ability to search a meeting based on subject matter or speaker.
- Ability to display conference schedules in calendar view with filters for building, floor and specific room.
- Ability to locate conference room based on capacity, equipment, building, floor and availability within a specific time slot.
- Ability to change a reservation after booking by editing the date (move a conference intact with all the text without having to re-enter).
- Specific Users are empowered as "owners" of a Conference room that limits booking only by those individuals. Certain rooms are not visible to others except the owner, and certain "executive" meeting subject matter are not viewable by others. Furthermore, we have added the concept of a 'Super User" who has override authority over others, and hyper linking to catering services.
